Patching kit
When using an embroidery design to cover a hole in your garment, we strongly recommend that you start by patching the hole on the inside of your fabric.
This has a dual purpose; it will provide a backing that the embroidery can be attached to, thereby ensuring the most beautiful result, and at the same time it will work towards strengthening the fabric, making your repair last longer.
Our repair kit consists of materials to make 5-10 patches depending on the size of repair:
- White poplin cotton canvas suitable for most repairs
- Blue or black denim suitable for repairs that require extra fabric strength, like for example knee patches
- White sewing thread made from recycled polyester
- 2 sewing needles

Our fabrics are sourced from deadstock materials and recycled garments from The Red Cross.
